1. The Carlsbad Strawberry Company Pumpkin Patch!
This local favorite is open all October long, and is the perfect place to bring the whole family. Full of beautiful pumpkins, tasty treats, a marigold field, and a haunted corn maze, you and your little ones can enjoy Fall by the Sea. And while we might not need boots and a coat in our little beach town, you can embrace the colors of Fall with this a charming rust colored bodysuit, leather belt, and pair of free people jeans!
2. Gun’s N Roses at San Diego’s Snapdragon Stadium!
What better way to rock the start of Fall then with our favorite band performing live in San Diego?! The crew of Gun's n Roses along with special guest Alice in Chains will make their way to SD's very own Snapdragon Stadium to perform some of their greatest hits on October 1st. The perfect throwback date night awaits you, and we recommend bringing back the late 80s grunge with this Magnolia Pearl patch vest, a striped tee, and skinny jeans.
3. La Jolla Art & Wine Festival
Mark your calendars for the upcoming Fall La Jolla Art & Wine Festival, set to make a grand return to downtown La Jolla on the weekend of October 7th. Enjoy local food, wine, family fun, and unique creations from over 160 artists. All proceeds benefit La Jolla school programs, and did we mention there will be pet adoption stations around the entire venue?! If you have a love for live music and the more county feel of San Diego, we recommend this year's annual Fall Festival on Grand Ave in Escondido! Hundreds of different vendors will gather to give you a head start on your holiday shopping, and between the Beer and Wine Garden, Creative Kid's Corner, and local robotic team demonstrations, the whole family can find something to enjoy. Attend with a jazzed up Fall look by opting for these funky Magnolia Pearl Bloomers and gauzy button down with vintage boots!
5. Old Town Día de los Muertos Celebration
On the weekend of October 28-29th, check out Old Town's beloved Day of the Dead Art Market & Procession to the Cemetery! This is a wonderful event to honor and celebrate your loved ones who are no longer here with us. Día de los Muertos is a traditional Mexican holiday where it is believed that departed souls come back to their homes to reunite with their living family members. It is commonly celebrated with alters, candles, flowers, and floral attire- like this stunning midi skirt and top set.
